Mr. Geng FENG is the CIO of CIMC Qingdao Refrigeration Industrial Base. With more than two decades in the cold chain equipment manufacturing industry, he has spent his entire career on the front lines of enterprise digitalization and IT transformation. He started by spearheading the rollout of core systems such as ERP, MES, and PLM, and was among the first in China's manufacturing sector to pioneer the adoption of cloud computing and private cloud infrastructure. Since 2013, he has shifted his focus fully to the practical deployment of digital lean manufacturing, industrial internet, and AI-driven applications in production environments. A rare blend of visionary and practitioner, he is widely recognized as one of the early hands-on experts to bring cloud technologies into Chinese manufacturing, and a steadfast advocate for digital lean methodologies. Under his leadership, his team has delivered a string of industry-first and national-level benchmark projects, including the sector's first national-level intelligent factory, the world's first Lighthouse factory in the container industry, a national demonstration enterprise for next-generation IT applications, and a national-level 5G-enabled factory. Collectively, these achievements have continually redefined the direction of digital and intelligent transformation across the industry.

Feng GENG serves as an smart manufacturing expert advisor to the National Innovation Center for Advanced Design and Digital Control, and is a core member of the "Cast-foundation 50" initiative under the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). He is also an external supervisor for South China University of Technology. His other professional appointments include committee membership on the Smart Manufacturing Expert Committee of the China Communications Industry Association, and on the inaugural Expert Committee of the China Mechanical & Electrical Integration Application Association. Additionally, he holds senior expert or advisory positions with the China Big Data Industry Alliance, the Digital Transformation Promotion Association, the Jiangsu Information Technology Association, the Anhui CIO Association, the Jilin Computer Society, and the Digital Northeast Executive Council, among others.
