About Tech Journey Shanghai
Beyond the show floor, here is another way to understand China’s innovation landscape. Running on the two days before the exhibition (18–19 November), Tech Journey Shanghai takes you inside leading technology companies and innovation parks across Hongqiao and its surrounding districts.
Every route is fully coach-transferred and accompanied by a tour leader, with face-to-face sessions with the engineers and product owners on site — a day’s worth of practical insight and relationships you can actually keep.
This is a pre-show programme. It complements — and does not clash with — the exhibition running 20–22 November. Seats are limited and allocated first come, first served.

Who can join?
Open to registered attendees of Hongqiao Tech Week 2026.
Priority free participation
VIP Pass, Premium Pass, Investor and Speaker holders are entitled to priority free participation.
Registration required
Each route runs with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 participants, first come, first served. Seat confirmation follows after registration.
Registration is open from 23 September to 23 October 2026. Should seats remain available, registration may reopen or be extended, with further updates announced separately.

Registration rules
One route per person
You may indicate 2–3 preferred routes in order of priority; allocation is made according to your preferences and seat availability.
Seats and wait list
Each route runs with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 participants, first come, first served. If a route is full, you will be placed on a Wait List and notified when a seat becomes available.
Registration window
Open from 23 September to 23 October 2026. Should seats remain available, registration may reopen or be extended, with further updates announced separately.
How to register
Submit through the official Hongqiao Tech Week registration channel. Please complete visitor registration and confirm your pass type before applying.

How to register
Five steps from registration to boarding the coach.
STEP 1
Register online
Complete registration through the official visitor registration channel and create your attendee account.
STEP 2
Choose your preferred routes
Indicate 2–3 preferred routes in order of priority, and note any dietary requirements (vegetarian, halal, allergies, etc.).
STEP 3
Await seat confirmation
Registration closes on 23 October, after which we will send your seat confirmation.
STEP 4
Receive your itinerary
The detailed itinerary will be sent to your registered email by 3 November, with a reminder one day before the event.
STEP 5
Check in on time
Check-in opens 15 minutes before departure. Please bring your confirmation and badge and arrive on time.

Full-day routes
Check-in at 09:00, ending at approximately 17:15 back at the meeting point.
Half-day routes
Check-in at 13:00, ending at approximately 17:30 back at the meeting point.
Transport & meals
A chartered coach with a tour leader accompanies each route, covering all inter-site transfers. A working lunch is included on full-day routes; half-day routes do not include meals. Please make your own way to the meeting point — accommodation and transfers to the meeting point are not provided. Kindly note any dietary requirements (vegetarian, halal, allergies, etc.) in the registration form.
