What is Networking?
Networking will happen around the Hongqiao Tech Week across the three show days. It is not about swapping business cards — it is a connection mechanism built around real business needs: we collect your objectives in advance, match you with the right counterparts, then move the conversation forward through closed-door meetings, topic-led roundtables, an evening party and on-site company visits.
Across Hall 1.1 and Hall 2.1, multiple networking and interaction zones run in parallel. Compose your own day: three one-to-one meetings in the Business Matching Zone in the morning, a roundtable you host yourself at the Spark Talk Lounge in the afternoon, and the conversation you did not finish over dinner at the Tech Week Party.
All Networking activities take place during the show (20–22 November), with the exception of Tech Journey Shanghai, which runs pre-show on 18–19 November.

How do I take part?
The same flow as visitor registration — register first, submit your activity application in your account, then turn up on time once the organiser confirms.

Complete registration through the official visitor registration channel and create your attendee account.
STEP 2
Choose your pass
Select the pass that fits your role and objectives. VIP, Investor and Media passes require supporting details for organiser review.
STEP 3
Apply for activities
Log in to your account and apply for activities that require registration — such as Business Matching and Tech Journey Shanghai — including your cooperation needs and schedule preferences.
STEP 4
Await confirmation
Once reviewed, the organiser will email your confirmation and schedule. Add hqtw@informa.com to your contacts and check your spam folder.
STEP 5
Show up
Collect your badge and head to the relevant zone. For one-to-one meetings and company tours, please arrive on time as stated in your confirmation.
