Dr. Liu Yuanguang, Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Neuregen Therapeutics, possesses 15 years of R&D and management experience in the gene therapy industry. Holding a Ph.D. from the Institute of Neuroscience, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and serving as an associate senior researcher, he has been recognized as a Shanghai Eastern Talent and a Pudong New Area Mingzhu Leading Talent, as well as a Suzhou Industrial Park Science and Technology Leading Talent. He has led and participated in over 10 scientific research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and provincial ministries, with multiple research findings published in high-impact international journals such as Advanced Materials, Cell Reports, J. Neurosci, and Cell Death & Disease. As an early core researcher in the global field of neural in situ transdifferentiation, he authored China's first in situ transdifferentiation paper and achieved the world's first dual IND submission for tumor applications in this technology. His work has advanced the clinical implementation of China's original endogenous regeneration technology, helping the country take a global lead in next-generation gene therapy.
