Dangyang JIE, Founder & CEO of Suzhou Jodell Robotics, holds a PhD from the Robotics Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology and serves as a visiting professor at Soochow University.

As one of the first Ph.D. candidates in the field of space station robotic arms in China, he participated in the entire process of developing China's first lightweight space station robotic arm. He previously served as the deputy chief designer of the Long March rocket at the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology and as a senior visiting researcher at the University of Strathclyde in the UK.

He was awarded as the Double-Innovation Talent of Jiangsu Province, the Leading Talent of Gusu, the first place in the "Chuangxiang Jiangsu" Top Ten Young Innovative Entrepreneurship Pacesetters, and the Top Ten Young Entrepreneurship Stars of Jiangsu Province and Suzhou City.

He has published over 20 academic papers and applied for more than 10 patents. He is the chief editor of "NASA Aerospace Technology Roadmap and Priority Development Technologies" (published by National Defense Industry Press in 2023). Since starting his entrepreneurial journey, he has led his team to make breakthroughs in core technologies such as industrial dexterous hands and electric grippers, promoting the industrial application of key execution components of domestic robots. He has provided autonomous and controllable solutions for fields such as intelligent manufacturing and high-end equipment.
