Dr. Juncheng Li is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Mechatronic Engineering, Soochow University, and the Executive Director of the Embodied AI Institute at Suzhou Jodell Robotics. Possessing a profound academic foundation and extensive experience in industrial deployment, he is dedicated to bridging the entire pipeline of Embodied AI from cutting-edge theory to industrial application.
Previously, Dr. Li served as an Applied Scientist II at Amazon Robotics. During his Ph.D., he was deeply involved in the NASA RETHi project, where he led research on robotic inspection and maintenance for space habitats. He has published multiple high-impact papers in top-tier international journals and conferences, including IEEE TRO, RA-L, and ICRA, with his research focusing on multimodal general grasping technologies and Real2Sim2Real pipelines.
Leveraging his dual strengths in "academic innovation and industrial engineering," he currently leads his team in driving the deep integration of Embodied AI models with advanced end-effectors, accelerating the large-scale commercial deployment of general-purpose robotics in complex, unstructured environments.
