Yang Haitao holds a Ph.D. in Medical Genetics from the Department of Medical Genetics, School of Medicine, Uppsala University, Sweden, and completed postdoctoral research in Neurogenetics at the University of California, Los Angeles, and in Tumor Genetics at the University of California, San Francisco. Upon returning to China, he served as a professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine at the School of Medicine, Shenzhen University, and was appointed as a Qianjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor by Zhejiang Province in 2015. He has founded biomedical technology enterprises in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and other locations. Presently, he is Chairman and CEO of RNAmed Biotech Co. Ltd. and  focusing on the development of mRNA-based tumor vaccines for cardiovascular diseases and breast cancer. He holds multiple invention patents, has established an RNA genome database and an AI-RNA model, and developed a high-throughput Neoantigen screening platform along with AI-assisted algorithms for tumor vaccine antigen design and large-model computation.
