Mr. Chen brings over 20 years of extensive experience in private equity fundraising and management, investment, advisory, and real asset management. In 2017, he founded Shishi Capital, which is headquartered in Beijing with branch offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The firm focuses on investment and advisory activities in digital infrastructure (including AIDC), energy technology, computing services, and large-scale AI models. Leveraging deep industry expertise, strong academic grounding, and hands-on operational experience, the firm has established a strong reputation and market presence. Prior to founding Shishi Capital, Mr. Chen served as a Managing Director at Blackstone Group, where he had full responsibility for institutional investor coverage in China. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles including Business Development Director at Cisco Systems, Deputy General Manager of the Beijing branch at Bosera Asset Management, and Business Development Director at Invesco Hong Kong. He also served as a member of the Insurance Institutional Investors Committee under the Insurance Asset Management Association of China. Mr. Chen holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Tsinghua University, an MBA from Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, and an EMBA from Tsinghua PBC School of Finance. He is also a CFA charter holder.
