Wang Liyan is Vice President of Shanghai Clinical Innovation and Translational Research Institute Co., Ltd. He is responsible for the institutional development and practical operation of the shareholding platform for clinical achievements of three municipal-level hospitals under the Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Development Center. On behalf of the Institute, he co-initiated and established a clinical translation seed fund with Futeng Capital, and the relevant work is currently progressing smoothly. He received his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from East China University of Science and Technology under the supervision of Academician Jiang Hualiang. He also has 11 years of experience in technology transfer and entrepreneurship. He has participated in and led the transfer and commercialization of more than 20 scientific and technological achievements in biomedicine and infrared optoelectronics, involving a total contract value of RMB 500 million. He has analyzed and evaluated more than 200 patents and has participated in the founding and operation of several technology start-ups.
