Dr. Mike Hu has 22 years of pharmaceutical industry at big, medium, small and start-up companies. He has experienced small and large molecules, peptides and siRNA. Dr. Hu has contributed to global development and approval of 19 drugs (including 6 blockbusters) across multiple therapeutic areas and various indications.

Dr. Hu is Overseas CMO at Mabwell Therapeutics and leads global clinical development of ADC, TCE, antibodies and siRNA in oncology, autoimmune, cardiovascular and CNS diseases. Dr. Hu was CEO & Executive Board Director at Akeylink Biotechnology, and CSO at Cosunter Pharmaceutical, focused on 2 FIC breakthrough therapies in function cure of HBV, and involved in fund raising。He was CEO, President, Co-Founder and Board Director at BaseCure Therapeutics, focused on siRNA pipelines in cardiovascular, metabolic, liver and oncology diseases, and established hepatic and extra-hepatic delivery platforms. Dr. Hu was CEO, President and Board Director at Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals USA, leading global clinical development, medical affairs and regulatory submissions of pipelines in diabetes。He was CDO at Rafael Pharmaceuticals and brought the company back to track, with peak value of $1 B，leading global clinical and pre-clinical development of 1 FIC in oncology. He was Jazz Senior Director and involved in clinical development and approval of 1 drug in leukemia. Dr. Hu was Director at Novartis and led 17 drugs in oncology, leukemia, endocrinology, and metabolism. He was GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) pre-clinical Principal Scientist and contributed to 2 pipelines from pre-clinical to IND.

Dr. Hu was Postdoctor at Yale University School of Medicine, Ph.D. at joint program of The University of Tokyo and China Shenyang Pharmaceutical University.
