Li Weidong possesses 33 years of experience in power electronics technology research and product development and design. He is an expert of the China Supercapacitor Alliance, a specially-appointed energy expert of the Guangdong Energy Association, an expert of the DC Power Supply Special Committee of China Southern Power Grid, and an expert in the expert pool recognized by the Shenzhen Science and Technology Bureau for high-tech enterprises. He has successively served in the New Product Research Institute of the 715 Factory of the Ministry of Electronics, Huawei Electric, and Emerson Network Power, holding positions such as chief engineer of the module power supply product line. He was also an electrical technology expert at Shenzhen Megmeet, holding multiple invention patents in the field of communication power supply.
Since joining Shenzhen TIGSTOR Technology Co., Ltd. in 2013 as the Chief Engineer, I have been fully responsible for the research and development of supercapacitor technology and its industrial application. I have led the implementation of full-scenario applications, including wind turbine pitch supercapacitor backup power supply, new energy frequency modulation and energy storage supercapacitor system, AIDC intelligent computing center supercapacitor CBU solution, power quality management system solution, industrial AGV on-board supercapacitor energy storage system, hybrid electric power supercapacitor system, and elevator energy-saving supercapacitor system.
