York Shen serves as Co-Chair of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Shanghai Chapter and has been an active CSA contributor since 2010. In this role, he leads regional cloud security initiatives and fosters cross industry collaboration across China's fintech and enterprise sectors. Professionally, Yong is the Cyber and Information Security Manager at PayPal (China), with over 20 years of experience across Hewlett Packard, eBay, and Ping An Technology. He holds multiple security patents, including three PCT applications, and received the "Excellent Patent Award" from the Guangdong Provincial Government in 2020. He is also a co-author of China's national security standard GB/T 397702021 and has reported CVEs. A frequent speaker at global conferences, he has presented at the World Economic Forum Fintech Cybersecurity Consortium, the ISC Summit, and hosted the 6th CSA Greater China Region Congress. He was named CSA China's "Industry Pioneer Award" recipient in 2020.
